Congrats to the B.I.G Expedition team on the successful completion of their mission!
The all-female team of Felicity Aston, MBE, Sadie Whitelocks, Julie Moniere, Edel Kieran, Dr. Laura Thomas, Andrea Fawell, Annabel Jackson Prow, Emma Ranger, Dr. Ulyana Horodjskyj Pena and Sophia Scott made a series of ski journeys in the Canadian Arctic over four years to gather scientific data on how climate change is affecting the region’s environment, and the people who live there.
This was a significant expedition and a significant achievement, as they carried Explorers Club flag #72 into the field with them.
They also made history by setting the Guinness record for the most northerly cocktail party! Cheers to that!
