Missing: OceanGate Expeditions Submersible

Two days ago on June 18th 2023, the crew of the OceanGate Expeditions vessel the Polar Prince launched a submersible that was to explore the wreckage of the RMS Titanic.

Roughly 900 miles from the Newfoundland coast, five persons onboard launched in a routine fashion. One hour and 45 minutes after launching, the Polar Princess lost contact with the crew onboard the submersible.

This is a rapidly evolving situation and new details are coming out often. We do not know the names of everyone onboard, but the Explorers Club in New York City released a statement yesterday saying that Hamish Harding, a prominent member of the club was onboard.

Again, this is a rapidly evolving situation. When information is received, it will be published here. If any of you have tips that you would like to pass along, I have included a contact form in the upper right hand of the home page.

My prayers are with those onboard, their families, and all those involved in this search.
